Ninth EDCTP Forum 2018 - Sponsor Opportunities

The Ninth EDCTP Forum will gather representatives from different regions and research fields, providing an excellent opportunity for networking and to highlight and promote key activities of your institution, organisation or company to a targeted audience while contributing to EDCTP�s mission and conference goals.

The Forum presents a unique opportunity to establish and reinforce cooperation and synergy among EDCTP stakeholders, share experiences and gather ideas that will contribute to and inform future research and development.

There are many ways EDCTP partners can be involved at the Forum. One of them is through our sponsorship opportunities, which allow profiling and raising the visibility of organisations working in the same field as EDCTP. Most importantly, sponsors� contribution to the Forum ensures broad participation of young African researchers through the Forum�s scholarship programme.

Sponsorship items and packages

Individual sponsorship items can be purchased as follows:

Sponsor a junior researcher

�3,500

Support a junior researcher to attend the Forum to present his/her research findings and to network with other delegates. Each researcher will receive a return airfare, accommodation, full conference registration, per diems for the duration of the Forum and assistance with visa applications and travel insurance.

This sponsorship item includes:

Acknowledgement and logo included on the Forum website, the Forum app and displayed at the Forum venue
Free registration for one individual when sponsoring three or more researchers.

Exhibitor table

�2,000 (reduced rate of �1,500 for non-profit organisations)

Exhibitors have maximum exposure to Forum delegates. Attendees congregate in the exhibition area to convene for refreshment breaks and poster viewings, which provide ample networking opportunities.

The exhibitor package includes one table, two chairs, a power socket and wireless internet.

This sponsorship item includes:

Free registration for one individual.�

Item in delegate bag

�1,500 per item�

Inclusion of a one piece of sponsor�s printed or promotional material in the Forum bag, which is given to all attendees. The content must be relevant to the Forum and approved by the organisers. The sponsor is responsible for production and timely delivery of the materials to the venue.�

Forum app banner

The Forum app helps participants navigate the event, access abstracts (oral and poster) and symposia, contact participants and plan their agendas. The app provides highly visible advertising opportunities.�
